It’s been a hot minute since we last posted a blog here on our website. We thought now was the perfect time to inform you all on the changes to Transparent Property Management, and how we’ve coped in this unprecedented time in all our lives.
In our last lockdown blog, we discussed our experience of lockdown so far, and how it has impacted the property managing industry. This is was towards the end of the first lockdown in 2020. Now that lockdown restrictions are easing, and life is starting to return to normality, we wanted to take this time to reflect on our growth through this chaotic period.
As people were spending more time at home, working from home or on furlough, they were noticing things they wanted completed on their assets and around the place they called home. This naturally results in owners and residents contacting their managing agents more frequently. We noticed a pattern from management companies and freeholders expressing their disappointment with the current agent in situ, and looking to find another company to manage their asset. Our portfolio began to increase dramatically, taking on more prestige developments covering a greater location radius.
As the portfolio grew, it was time to bring on some new talent. We have welcomed Hayley Williams and Denika Cooper to the Transparent family. Both are showing tremendous aptitude to learning and will be looking to become IRPM and RICS accredited in their first year working at TPM, whilst being sponsored by Jasmine Davison-Holmes and Lewis Cassar.
Denika has already become the property manager to all of our new builds and is quickly getting to grips with what it takes to manage one. She has been conducting her first site visits during the first three months here, and building relationships with our freehold clients and leaseholders.
Hayley has been taking the reins on our social media, whilst becoming property manager on some of the smaller properties we manage. She has helped grow the company on all our social platforms, and will be writing monthly blog posts for us moving forward. We are looking forward to watching these two bright minded individuals blossom over the next year.
We also made sure that rewards were deservedly given to our current staff. Jasmine Davison-Holmes was promoted the Head of Property Management and Client Liaison. She will be helping Denika and Hayley with building their understanding of property management and getting those all important accreditations.
And just like that, Transparent Property Management turned 2. The Transparent Property Managements ethos remains the forefront of everything we stand for, complete transparency. We are providing more owners than ever before with the education on their assets and reassurance that they in good hands. Through recommendations from our happy clients and leaseholders, and growth on our social media, we are seeing an increase demand for our services. It is with great pride that we have started management of over 600 units this year, more than doubling the amount we managed in year one.
We are pleased to say that we have an excellent contractors list, who are delivering high-levels of service from gardening and internal cleaning to conducting health & safety risk assessments on all our managed sites. Having confidence that we are only using insured contractors who are right for the jobs. This contractor list is forever changing and we are always welcoming different trades to assist us on our sites.
Where do we see Transparent Property Management heading towards in year three? The answer is simple. Continued growth with our block portfolio and property managers. Our company ethos is what is making TPM stand out from the other agents available, and we hope to help more and more owners.
